Rule 76
Action and Disposition of Complaints

(1) According to section 162 of the Act, if someone files a complaint with the department or office, the department or office shall register such complaint in the registration book and give a copy of it to the concerned complainant.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), if the department or office deems it appropriate to mediate between the complainant and the complained party, the concerned party may be brought to reconciliation. But according to section 163 of the Act, reconciliation cannot be done (3) If reconciliation cannot be reached between the two parties according to sub-rule (2), the department or office may ask both parties to submit evidence with the grounds and reasons for confirming their claims, take a decision on the same basis and issue necessary orders to the relevant parties to implement the decision.
(4) If the concerned party submits an application to the department or office stating that the order given by the department or office is not being followed according to sub-rule (3), then the department or office may execute the decision made in accordance with section 166, 167 or 168 of the Act.
